Lanes, heat
and landings.
Four lanes of dirt seen from the side.
Eight riders told apart by colour.
The first into the first ramp has the holeshot.
Mud slows a lane, cooling chevrons drop your heat, and riding close behind someone drafts you speed. Hold the throttle and the engine heats; past the mark the gauge flashes, at the top it seizes and you coast. Everything you see is drawn by code and everything you hear is synthesised, and the simulation is bit-identical in the browser and on the desktop, so every time can be replayed to prove it.
Find your
line.
Easy to pick up. Hard to put down.
A few inputs. A whole lot of feel.
- 01Pick your lane. Read the dirt. Find the gap. Make your move.
- 02Preload and scrub. Charge on the ground, release at the lip; lean forward hard to scrub it flat.
- 03Mind the heat. Push the turbo. Know when to let it breathe.
Your dirt.
Your file.

A track is a YAML list of pieces. The builder runs the game's own checks and layout, compiled to WebAssembly, and four hard CPU riders race your track as you edit it. Drop the file in content/tracks/ and the game plays it.

What is BRAAAP?
A lane motocross racer: four dirt lanes seen from the side, up to eight riders, ramps, mud, an engine that overheats, tricks, preload and scrub, drafting and the holeshot. Open source under the MPL-2.0; everything in it is generated from code and YAML.
Can I play it yet?
Yes, in the browser: a quick race against up to seven CPU riders on four tracks. Early development; multiplayer and leaderboards are planned, not shipped. The desktop build comes from the source.
Keyboard or controller?
Either. X throttle, Z turbo, arrows to lean and change lane, C to trick and preload; or the right trigger, A, the left stick, the d-pad and X on a pad. Menus take the mouse too.
Can I make my own tracks?
Yes: a track is a YAML list of pieces. The track builder runs the game's own checks in the browser and lays the lap out as you edit; drop the file in content/tracks/ and the game plays it.
